The rich curriculum at Joyful Learning includes thematic units that vary by class and are relevant to preschool age children.

Throughout the year there are events that are common to all classes.

These activities include:

• Fall Celebration and Parade
  This includes a children's costume parade around the school followed by the highlight of the day, the singing of seasonal fall songs for the families. Children return to their classrooms for a party featuring refreshments and dancing.

• Friendship Feast
  The Friendship Feast involves the preparation of an assortment of foods traditionally served in the fall. It also includes learning about Native Americans and Pilgrims commemorating their friendship by coming together with other classrooms into the all purpose room to share the feast.

• Valentine's Day Parties with Dad
  The children get a special evening out to celebrate with their dads including special food, songs and a gift for their dads.

• Mother's Day Tea Parties
  Preschoolers celebrate their moms with a special tea party. The moms are invited into the classrooms for special food, songs and presentation.

• Celebration Days
  Celebration Days commemorate the completion of the school year with songs, awards and certificates for all the children's learning and growing throughout the year. Refreshments are served afterwards to complete the celebration.
