Staff:

We select our staff carefully in order to provide the best possible education and care for your child. In selecting each teacher we consider their formal education, experience with children, philosophy of education and personal characteristics.

Many of our teachers have come from a variety of backgrounds before choosing elementary education. This enriches our staff and the experiences the children have at school.

Before being hired, each candidate submits a resume and personal references, which are confirmed. Everyone on staff applies for a CORI investigation. This report is kept on file.

Teachers at Southbrook Academy have college degrees and experience in the field of education. They are committed to the highest quality education for their students and their own professional growth.

Teachers and administrators are committed to the value of teamwork in providing a rich and safe environment for our children as well as stimulating and developmentally appropriate programs in the classrooms.
